Trust the French!

A while since I stopped by the beauteous Yves Delorme inside the always-buzzing University Park Village, I finally made it through the long glass doors glistening in the sun, and I must say, the shop received quite the facelift over the past year or two. Easily one of the cleanest, chicest window displays in the shopping center, Yves Delorme moved next to Francesca’s, obviously a space offering heavier foot traffic and a lot more lustful sighs at the immaculate linens and architectural chandeliers shimmering from above.

For those not familiar with this heritage of French couture, the retailer boasts a vast collection of fine European linens and accessories, luxury bedding, and distinctive fragrances that tickle your senses into a fantastic daydream of home decor perfection. So glad I took a look around to find an elegantly packaged soap collection and a set of bright, beach-house-esque pillows, among other things…

Jacquard Tablecloths $265 // Madrigal Soap Collection $18 // Fish & Lobster Pillows $144 // Calanque Trays & Cointrays $180

Do you dig the stunning salmons and sky blues on those pillows, or what?! I wished to take home the entire seat and the café colored settee upon which they sat, taunting me to ignore the price tag and bring home the goodies. But alas, I had to save the purchase for another day but left with the urge to remind fellow Fort Worthians that Yves Delorme remains a reigning source for interior design. Next time you pass through the Village, don’t hesitate to pass through those sleek glass doors and scan the new luxuries available.

Go on. Vivez la belle vie!
