Etsy Fort Worth’s Cowtown Indie Bazaar

I love Etsy – especially when all its natural goodness and unique craftiness is in my own backyard.

I’m talking, of course, about Etsy Fort Worth‘s (yes, there is an Etsy Fort Worth!) second annual fall show, The Cowtown Indie Bazaar, a handmade marketplace, scheduled for October 15, 2011 at the Roundup Inn at Will Rogers Memorial Center.  The free event is produced by volunteer local artisans and will feature handmade goods from the best local artists and crafters in the metroplex, a charitable raffle benefiting Hope Center for Autism, live music, and family-friendly ‘make-and-take’ craft activities.

The vendor list was just announced, and from the looks of these goods and services, this event is going to be outrageously teeming with creativity! Ecclectic jewelry, home goods, unique clothing and accessories, bath and body products, and original artwork are only a few of the many, many categories of merchandise available at the market.  Here are a few of favorites that I’m personally looking forward to snagging up this weekend…

Top: Screen Printed Nautical Flour Sack Towels $10, Dozy Doats Totes // Fleur de Lis Amber Anchor Earrings $16, Fine and Dandy// Mod Branch Silver Earrings $22, Emma Alison Designs// Bottom: Sage Vegan Leather & Recycled Burlap Clutch $25, RACHELelise// Thoreau Moleskine Pocket Size Notebook $9, Subtle Acts// Aqua & Gold Flecked Pimpernel Earrings $12, Northern Roots

The indoor event is free to attend, family friendly, and the first 50 attendees will receive a complimentary goody bag filled with handmade items made by the vendors. So mark your calendars now for a crafter’s paradise, a sweet hometown event absolutely worth taking a gander at!

Once more: Check out the Cowtown Indie Bazaar on Saturday, October 15, 2011, 9am – 5pm, at the Roundup Inn, Will Rogers Memorial Center, 3401 West Lancaster, Fort Worth, Texas 76107
